TYPHIDOT Rapid IgG/IgM is an immunochromatographic assay designed for the qualitative detection and differentiation of IgM and IgG antibodies specific to Salmonella typhi antigens in human whole blood, serum, or plasma. This test works on the principle of antigen-antibody interactions, where antibody-antigen complexes are formed with conjugated antigens. Reagents to capture anti-S. typhi IgM and IgG are immobilized on a nitrocellulose membrane, allowing for rapid and accurate detection of typhoid infection.
