The ANA (Antinuclear Antibody) test is commonly used to screen for autoimmune disorders and is a key test in diagnosing systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), often in combination with other tests like erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) or C-reactive protein (CRP).
